The Michigan Supreme Court has reappointed Judge Sarah S. Lincoln, Judge Jason C. Bomia and Judge Michael L. Jaconette as chief judges of Calhoun County’s Circuit, District and Probate courts.

Their new two-year terms begin Jan. 1, 2026, according to a community announcement.

Lincoln and Bomia are concluding their first terms as chief judges of the 37th Circuit Court and 10th District Court, respectively.

Jaconette has served as chief probate judge since 2011 and was chief judge of all Calhoun County courts from 2016 until 2024. Lincoln was elected to the bench in 2014 and reelected in 2020.

Bomia was appointed by Gov. Gretchen Whitmer in 2019, retained by election in 2020 and reelected in 2022. Jaconette was elected in 2010 and reelected in 2016 and 2022.
