It's the most glamorous time of the year.
But dressing to impress for the Christmas party season can also be stressful, with 74% of Brits admitting they scrabble for the right outfit at the last minute, and 42% facing a fashion mishap.
New research from Primark (https://www.primark.com/en-gb/c/christmas) also revealed that two-thirds of us have forked out up to £50 to replace forgotten items, while 35% have been caught out by an online order arriving late.
Almost one in three (31%) say their biggest pre-party worry is choosing the right outfit, and this climbs even higher for Londoners (44%).
Unsurprisingly, Brits with the busiest festive diaries are aged 25 to 34, who plan to attend five or more parties this season.
Primark has set up Slay-TMs in three cities to come to the rescue of revellers facing last-minute style slip-ups. Based in London, Birmingham and Manchester, the ATM-style rescue stations will stock free party essentials to beat the last-minute panic.
The festive rescue stations are bursting with fashion and beauty must-haves - from tights and accessories to makeup and aftershave.
If shoppers need items that aren't available, the SLAY-TM will dispense £10 Primark vouchers with each product, which will be redeemable in nearby stores.
Mary Lucas, Trading Director for Womenswear at Primark, says: "Christmas should be about celebrating, not stressing over last-minute outfit dramas.
"We know people want to look and feel their best, with nearly a third (32%) of younger partygoers feeling more pressure to look good for the office Christmas party than for a date. But rushing from the desk to dancefloor makes it easy to forget a festive essential.
"That's why we're launching Santa's SLAY-TMs across the country."
