Omar Abdullah Questions Absence of Officials at SKIMS Event

SRINAGAR : Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Friday expressed surprise over the absence of civil administration officials at a function at SKIMS, saying it reflected gaps in institutional coordination at a time when the premier medical institute required stronger support from the government. Speaking at the event, Omar said he had initially considered declining the invitation because SKIMS, in his words, no longer remained under the functional control of the elected government.
