The Delhi government is strategically leveraging private sector partnerships to enhance city infrastructure, handing over several key road stretches and flyovers to major companies. On Friday, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta revealed that firms like IOCL, Vedanta, and GMR are spearheading beautification and maintenance efforts.

A landmark MoU was signed with GMR, tasking the company with overseeing a road stretch from Azadpur market to Inderlok for a three-year period. GMR is set to invest Rs 6 crore in cleanup, tree planting, and maintenance activities while installing a solar pump.
