This uncomfortable Arctic blast of air is set to stick with us for the next several days, creating dangerously cold temperatures. Subzero wind chills are going to make it feel even colder in some areas.

We’ve also got a weak Clipper system coming in later Friday, which is going to bring snow showers into Saturday.

The extended forecast shows these below-normal temperatures will likely stay with us into next week.

A shift in the Polar Vortex pattern is creating multiple opportunities for the much-colder air that normally stays well north of us to swoop down over the Great Lakes. Right now, that is expected to happen on repeat through the middle of December.
