A man has been arrested after a bulldozer was driven into a local pub in in what police believe to be a "targeted" attack. Emergency services swarmed the scene of the incident near the New Inn pub on Smiths Avenue, Hirwaun, Rhondda Cynon Taf,on December 4.

Locals were warned to stay away from the area. South Wales Police said that a 35-year-old man from Rhigos has since been arrested on suspicion of attempted GBH and various motoring offences, including driving whilst under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
