Pembrokeshire planners have given the green light to a proposal for replacing a storm-battered shelter at the Welsh Wildlife Centre near Cardigan . The Wildlife Trust of South and West Wales submitted an application to the county council seeking approval for the replacement timber-framed shelter at the Welsh Wildlife Centre in Cilgerran, close to Cardigan.

The original shelter received planning consent in 2012 but has "been severely affected by storm damage" according to the applicants. Located south of Cardigan, the Welsh Wildlife Centre sits within the Teifi Marshes nature reserve.
