Automatic lower berth allocation for senior citizens and women aged 45 and above, based on availability: Vaishnaw

Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw announced that lower berths are automatically allotted to senior citizens and women aged 45+ based on availability. Indian Railways reserves specific lower berths per coach for these groups, along with persons with disabilities and their attendants. Enhanced accessibility features are also being implemented in new train designs.
