BENGALURU: Darshan, who is accused in the Renukaswamy murder case and lodged in Parappana Agrahara Central Jail, is facing one problem after another. When he was being arrested, the police had found Rs 82 lakh cash in Darshan’s house which was seized and handed over to the Income Tax department.
After that, officials traced the source of the money and even went to Ballari jail to gather information. Now, the I-T department is digging into the source of the cash and is questioning Darshan.
Darshan reportedly told the Income Tax officials that the cash came from his agricultural earnings, sale of farm animals and some of it was presented by his fans on his birthdays.
