We saw the front row , and now it’s time to see what Chanel sent down the pre-fall runway. Suffice to say it does not open with a bang, but a denim whimper — and it’s ALL over the place from there. I don’t know what this is trying to achieve, other than to continue setting the table for Chanel to be a grittier line; it does not feel cohesive, but rather like idea vomit.

As noted in the comments yesterday, we have gotten away in recent years from trying to make recommendations on every slide of a runway show, in large part because it’s too many slides from too many shows. Ater a while our brains go on the fritz and we can only think of the same seven people. But with this one… I was stumped, but I tried!
