Let’s blow some kisses and throw a few bouquets to a program that was left for dead not long ago. URI football was so bad, so irrelevant, some fans wanted to drop the football program and pick up varsity hockey. The hockey part still isn’t a bad idea, even if there’s a good club program in place.
