Richard Sherman was not impressed with the effort from Cowboys receiver George Pickens on Thursday Night Football.
In a 44-30 loss to the Lions, Pickens caught five passes for 37 yards on nine targets. When CeeDee Lamb left the game with a concussion, Sherman was expecting Pickens to step up and fill the void.
Instead, the former Seahawks cornerback believed Pickens disappeared, and he highlighted low-energy plays on the TNF postgame show.
“The big story here is George Pickens,” Sherman said. “George Pickens, throughout the game, especially late in the game, just looked uninterested. Uninterested in playing football. And that’s what you can’t have. If you’re going to be a superstar, if you want to be the best receiver in the National Football League, you can’t ever be disengaged. It
