CENTRAL VALLEY, Calif. (KFSN) -- Family and friends are preparing to honor the life of a fallen Parlier police officer killed while on his way to work.

29-year-old Jesus Dario Corona was killed in a Tulare County crash on Sunday.

He served as a patrol and Parlier High School resource officer for the last two years.

The Fresno County Sheriff's Office says a candlelight vigil will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at Earl Ruth Park in Parlier.

Then, on Wednesday at 11 a.m., Funeral services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lindsay.

The Parlier Police Officers Association is asking that all donations be made to the PORAC Fund a Hero program to help his wife and daughter.
