AWS is seeing rising interest in cloud and AI solutions from Indian enterprises as the company expands its regional presence, according to Praveen Sridhar, Head of Partnerships, AWS India. The company continues to invest in its India and South Asia operations, supported by growing conversations around GenAI and digital services.

Sridhar highlighted that AWS has been serving Indian customers for over nine years since the launch of the Mumbai region and recently added the Hyderabad region. He noted that AWS has committed $12.7 billion in investments through 2030 to support innovation in the market.
