Here’s how the draw works:

All 48 teams will be drawn into 12 groups, from A to L. The teams will be picked from four seeded “pots,” numbered 1-4, sequentially.

The three host countries — Canada, the U.S. and Mexico — are in pot 1, with the highest-ranked teams. Pots
