Before a court appearance on Friday amidst an ongoing lawsuit against NASCAR, former NBA player Michael Jordan was greeted by a familiar sound.

Jordan’s 23XI Racing recently filed an antitrust lawsuit and the trial began earlier this week on December 1. The proceedings began in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of North Carolina.

The lawsuit accuses NASCAR of acting as "monopolistic bullies" and Jordan told USA TODAY Sports that this litigation is "just getting started" so far. After the six-time NBA champion first arrived in court, multiple jurors were dismissed because they were fans of the basketball legend.

Before he was personally set to testify during the fifth day of the federal trial on Friday, however, Jordan had a particularly interesting arrival.

A fan played the Chicago Bulls intro music from his playing days in the 1990s, which may have unlocked a bit of nostalgia for the 14-time NBA All-Star.
