Thunder Bay Fire Rescue crews were able to put out a travel trailer fire on the city’s south side on Wednesday, the second such fire in the last three days.

Fire crews responded to reports of the fire involving the trailer at 12:30 p.m. on Kingston Street.

The first crews arriving on the scene saw heavy smoke coming from the scene and a second alarm was called.

The second alarm was cancelled after the first arriving pumpers and crew were able to quickly bring the fire under control.

There were no reports of injuries as a result of the fire.

According to Thunder Bay Fire Rescue inspectors, the cause of the fire was determined to be a woodburning appliance located inside the travel trailer.
