FAYETTEVILLE -- Multiple roads will be closed Saturday in preparation for the Holiday Market.
Streets around the Fayetteville Square, including Mountain Street, East Avenue, Center Street and Block Avenue, will closed beginning at 7:30 a.m. Saturday for the event. They will reopen following the close of the market at 2 p.m.
The market takes place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. over several weekends -- Dec. 6, 13 and 20 -- in conjunction with the Fayetteville Farmer's Market.
The annual event features handcrafted wreaths, artisan crafts and baked goods, as well as live music and food trucks.
Motorists driving through the area are encouraged to take alternative routes and exercise caution, a city news release regarding the closure states.
