In just over two months, Oregon State baseball will begin its 2026 season in Surprise, Arizona.
The Beavers are coming off a 48-16-1 record in 2025 and another trip to the College World Series. They will once again navigate an independent schedule before Pac-12 baseball officially reboots ahead of the 2027 season.
Last month, The Oregonian/OregonLive caught up with OSU head coach Mitch Canham for a brief Q&A to recap fall ball for the Beavers and look ahead to 2026.
Here is a transcript of that conversation:
Ryan Clarke: Having just wrapped up fall ball, what were your takeaways?
Mitch Canham: Well, I had an absolute blast with this group throughout the fall. I’m just impressed on how quickly they bonded together, and I guess the cohesion of what the goal was gonna be together. Ever
