A network outage delayed Delta Air Lines flights to and from Detroit Metro Airport , including routes between Detroit and the Des Moines International Airport.

A ground stop held all flights for several hours on Fridayt, Dec. 5. It is now lifted, but two Des Moines flights are still showing delays of several hours.

Initially, the FAA said it expected the stop to be lifted by 8:30 a.m., then 9 a.m., with a medium chance — 30% to 60% — that it could take longer for the ground stop to be lifted, it announced a ground delay.
