SRINAGAR : The Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare on Friday told the Lok Sabha that Jammu Kashmir has been allocated a total of Rs 2,690.40 lakh over the last three financial years under the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (NP-NCD). According to official figures, the UT received Rs 792 lakh in 2022–23, Rs 882 lakh in 2023–24 and Rs 1,016.40 lakh in 2024–25. Expenditure during these years amounted to Rs 202.20 lakh, Rs 208.39 lakh and Rs 530.60 lakh respectively, indicating a substantial increase in fund utilisation in the current fiscal.
