PORTSMOUTH, Ohio. (WSAZ) - Two were arrested in Portsmouth on child porn charges, according to the Portsmouth Police Department.

Police said their arrests came after the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) contacted the department about information they received about child sexual assault material being sent via the internet on phone numbers associated with Gerald Ohara and Beverly Ohara.

On December 4, detectives from the department executed a search warrant at 2015 20th St. in Portsmouth.

The Portsmouth Police Department arrested Gerald Ohara, 43, and Beverly Ohara, 38, both of Portsmouth.

The two were charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor, pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, and illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material.
