EVERETT — Stanwood will light up the holidays and bring residents, local businesses and visitors together on Saturday with its annual tree lighting celebration, a press release said.
The event will take place 4-7 p.m. Saturday in Stanwood, 8727 271st St. NW. A holiday market will include more than 20 vendors, local businesses and food trucks offering seasonal specials, treats and gift options. Also, holiday crafts and face painting will be available.
Live music, dance performances and a meet and greet with real reindeer start at 4:30 p.m. The tree will light up at 5:30 p.m. after a countdown with Mayor Sid Roberts.
Also at 5:30 p.m. Santa will be available for photos located near the police station. Throughout, the Stanwood Camano Food Bank will be accepting donations of non-perishable
