This week, longtime fans were eager to revisit Mad Men on HBO Max—especially in a highly touted remastered 4K version. But no one was prepared to see a mistake that quickly went viral. HBO Max’s version of the original’s season one, episode seven accidentally features a shot that includes a behind-the-scenes special effects artist visibly operating a hose during a scene in which advertising executive Roger Sterling ( John Slattery ) vomits after climbing the stairs back to his Manhattan office following a martini and oyster lunch.
