A 34-year-old New Jersey man is accused of sexually assaulting two girls in North Carolina.
William E. Alston, of Aberdeen, was arrested in New Jersey and extradited to North Carolina on Wednesday, the Onslow County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement.
Alston is charged with one count of statutory sexual offense of a child by an adult and four counts of indecent liberties with children.
Alston was ordered held without bond in the Onslow County Detention Center following a first appearance Thursday in Jacksonville, North Carolina.
Attorney information wasn’t immediately available.
