More than a year after a citizen group filed a lawsuit challenging Gannon University’s lease at Erie County’s main public library, the case appears close to being resolved.

On Dec. 3, the attorney for the citizen group — Keep Our Library Public — joined with the attorneys for Erie County, Gannon University and Erie County Council to inform Judge James Arner that the parties had agreed to settle the case upon certain terms and conditions.
