Disney is planning a rerelease in theaters of “ Avengers: Endgame ,” the second-highest grossing film of all time, on Sept. 25.

The release of the latest installment of the series, “ Avengers: Doomsday ,” follows on Dec. 18.

Disney also announced the release date for “Super Troopers 3” on Aug. 7. “Super Troopers 3,” written by the Broken Lizard team, is directed by Chandrasekhar and he stars along with Kevin Heffernan, Brian Cox, Steve Lemme, Chace Crawford and Nat Faxon.

“Endgame” directors Joe and Anthony Russo are directing “Doomsday,” which will also see the return of Robert Downey Jr. to Marvel movies. Instead of Tony Stark/Iron Man, Downey Jr. will play the villain Doctor Doom.
