BAILEY, Colo. (WOWT) - The Colorado Bureau of Investigation is looking for the public’s help identifying remains of man they believe may have ties to communities in three states, including Nebraska and Iowa.
CBI said in a Friday news release that the remains were found on a Tuesday afternoon in May 2024 in a remote camping area about an hour outside Denver.
“As of now, information regarding the case, including how the man might have died, is limited,” CBI said.
According to the release, investigators think the man may have relatives in Omaha as well as Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and Pueblo, Colo., based on numerous DNA matches they’ve found in those communities.
