Two Christmas parades and a tree lighting set for Saturday, Dec. 6, are shifting plans because of forecasted rain.

The 2025 Dauphin Island Christmas Parade and Market has been moved to Dec. 13, with the parade scheduled to start at 11 a.m. The island town’s tree lighting has been delayed just one day and rescheduled for Sunday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m.
