Montreal police say a major drug trafficking operation has been disrupted after officers arrested two suspects and seized nearly $385,000 worth of narcotics during coordinated searches last week.

Montreal police (SPVM) carried out the operation on Nov. 29, targeting locations in the Ville-Marie borough and the municipality of Granby. Officers uncovered a substantial cache of illicit substances, including roughly 14 kilograms of cocaine, 30,000 amphetamine tablets and 15 kilograms of hashish. Investigators also recovered a Glock 17 handgun, ammunition and $27,000 in Canadian currency.

The suspects, 37-year-old Cody Ditcham-Couture and 31-year-old Gabriel Boulais, were arrested and appeared the same day at the Montreal courthouse. Both face multiple charges, including possession of drugs f
