THE ELECTION Commission on Friday extended the schedule for the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Kerala by one week, on the request of the state government.
According to the new schedule, electors in Kerala can now submit enumeration forms till December 18, as opposed to the earlier deadline of December 11. The draft electoral roll will be published on December 23, after which claims and objections can be filed till January 22, 2026. The final electoral roll of the Kerala SIR would be published on February 21, 2026.
