ANN ARBOR, MI — The Ann Arbor Area Transportation Authority will not operate fixed-route bus service, FlexRide or A-Ride services on Thursday, Dec. 25, and Thursday, Jan. 1, 2026, in observance of the Christmas and New Year holidays.
Service will continue on Friday, Dec. 26, and Friday, Jan. 2, 2026, with most routes operating on a Saturday schedule, according to a Dec. 4 press release.
TheRide’s main office, the Blake Transit Center and the Ypsilanti Transit Center will be closed on both holidays but will reopen when service resumes.
On Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, fixed-route bus service will end early. The last trips will leave the Blake Transit Center at 6:45 p.m. and the Ypsilanti Transit Center at 7 p.m. Real-time tools may not reflect the modified end times, the press releas
