HAZARD, Ky. (WYMT) - WYMT has confirmed Hazard Football Head Coach Matthew Chandler has resigned.

Chandler spent two seasons with the program, leading the Bulldogs to a 13-12 record overall during his tenure.

In 2024, Hazard went 8-5 and made it to the Regional Final of the Class A Football Finals, falling 35-0 to Raceland.

In 2025, the Bulldogs went 5-7, and lost 44-36 to Middlesboro in the second round of the playoffs.
