The Oakland County Sheriff's Office temporarily closed its administrative building in Pontiac on Dec. 5, and it'll remain closed through the weekend, after preliminary water tests detected the presence of Legionella bacteria.
Testing was initiated after a custodial employee assigned to the building was diagnosed with Legionnaires' disease, according to a Dec. 4 news release from the sheriff's office.
