A 75-year-old man died from multiple blunt force trauma after the Tuesday morning crash on Route 16 in Adams County , according to the coroner’s office.
The man who died, a Fairview-area resident, was not identified. The Adams County coroner’s office said it is searching for his next of kin.
The crash, which happened around 9:17 a.m. in Hamiltonban Township, caused Route 16 to shut down from Jack Mountain Road to Harbaugh Valley Road.
The cause of the crash is unclear. The number of vehicles involved and the extent of non-fatal injuries are also unknown.
Adams County received varying snow amounts that morning, with specific locations reporting up to 0.8 inches .
