BUNKER HILL, Ind. — Indiana State Police say they are investigating the deaths of two inmates at the Miami Correctional Facility.

According to ISP, on Nov. 26 an investigation began into the death of 36-year-old J. Trinidad Ramirez. An autopsy was completed on Ramirez to determine the exact cause of death, but state police did not elaborate further.

Over a week later on Dec. 5, state police were again called to the Miami Correctional Facility to investigate the death of 38-year-old Anthony Barbee. Police say an autopsy is pending and will determine Barbee's exact cause of death.

ISP says both incidents are active and ongoing investigations and that all families have been notified.
