UPPER BURRELL, Pa. —

A man died after a crash in Upper Burrell, Westmoreland County, on Friday morning.

The coroner's office said a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Manchester Hill Road and Route 780 happened shortly before 7 a.m. Advertisement

Brian Edward McCormick, 60, of Lower Burrell, was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt force injuries, the coroner's office said.

Officials say another person was taken to a trauma center for continued care.

Few details on the crash have been released. Pennsylvania State Police and Upper Burrell police are investigating.
