Sadie Kincaid is kicking off her new series, Wages of Sin , with a suspenseful romance, The Auction .

PEOPLE has an exclusive excerpt from Kincaid’s forthcoming book and a look at the cover and the designed endpages. The new novel, which will hit shelves in April 2026, is the British author’s first traditionally published book since she began writing in 2016.

The novel combines Beauty and the Beast with the Mafia world, following Imogen Demotta and Lincoln Knight.
