There is often a star running back who inspires debates about how early in the NFL draft someone from the position should go, and it seems like Notre Dame’s Jeremiyah Love will be that playmaker for the 2026 edition.

Love has already run for 1372 yards and 18 touchdowns to go with 27catches for 280 yards and three touchdowns as a receiver this season. His presence is a major reason Notre Dame is firmly in the College Football Playoff picture heading into the stretch run. And in the process, he has also made his case for this season’s Heisman run.
