ORANGEBURG — At this rate, the powers that be at Oceanside Collegiate Academy might have to build a new wing to the athletic department for Landsharks quarterback Aiden Manavian .
Manavian will have to settle for a desk in the coaches’ office next year and a third consecutive state championship this season.
Manavian threw for 159 yards and one touchdown and Terence Johnson added three more scores to lead Oceanside Collegiate past Belton-Honea Path 28-7 in the Class AAA state title game before a rain-soaked crowd of about 3,000 at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium on the campus of South Carolina State on Dec. 5.
Oceanside coach Brent LaPrad, who took over the program in February , told Manavian before the game that if led the Landsharks to another state championship, he’d get his own workspac
