The investigation into the death of 18-year-old Anna Kepner , who was found asphyxiated under a bed on a cruise ship, has led to a custody dispute involving her stepmother, Shauntel Hudson Kepner, and her ex-husband, Thomas Hudson, as new court documents reveal her 16-year-old stepbrother is a suspect.

"The three of them. They're like the three amigos. They're best friends," Shauntel said.

Court documents and testimony have named Anna's 16-year-old stepbrother as a suspect in her death. Shauntel Hudson Kepner was in court Friday for a separate matter related to her divorce and custody of her children, Anna's step-siblings.
