STORM LAKE, Iowa (KTIV) - The City of Storm Lake has declared a Snow Emergency starting Saturday, Dec. 6.
The snow emergency begins at 10 p.m. and runs through Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 6 a.m., according to the City of Storm Lake .
“The Snow Emergency is based on projections from the National Weather Service calling for 4-6″ of snow falling Saturday afternoon and evening.
City officials say parking restrictions are in effect to allow for street clearing.
City officials say if snow clearing is not needed, the snow emergency declaration will be lifted. Additional information for the City of Storm Lake’s Snow Emergency is available on the city’s website.
