Another weekend winter storm is taking aim at the Midwest which means we'll be needing to prepare the snowblowers for more plowable snow.
This system looks to move into our immediate area starting as early as noon on Saturday with Winter Storm Warnings going into effect for Hancock County and further south and west. These warnings will expire at midnight coming into Sunday.
Those who fall under a Winter Storm Warning are expected to get at least 4-6" of snow from this storm with higher totals possible in localized areas. This will heavily impact roadways and travel conditions.
Many of us fall under a Winter Weather Advisory starting Saturday afternoon, which means less snow is expected but impacts to travel and roadways is high. Those of us in the Advisory are looking at a general 3-5"
