ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) — On Friday, FIFA held a watch party in Buckhead as the final draw of the international soccer tournament was announced in Washington, D.C.
The U.S. Men’s National Team, in Group D, will play Australia, Paraguay and the winner of a play-in game.
On Saturday, the full schedule will be announced, so that’s when Atlanta learns which teams will play at Mercedes-Benz Stadium during the group stage.
Hundreds of fans packed into Buckhead Village to see a livestream of the announcement, along with appearances from athletes and city officials.
