MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. (WNDU) - U.S. Rep. Frank Mrvan addressed redistricting concerns during the grand opening of a new disability services hub, saying he will run for re-election regardless of the outcome of pending legislation.

Mrvan, who represents Indiana’s 1st Congressional District, spoke at the opening of the Paladin Success Hub after the House passed a redistricting bill that now advances to the state Senate. The congressman is one of two representatives targeted in the redistricting efforts.

“Whether they do or they don’t redistrict, I am going to do everything I can to run through mountains to make sure that we create jobs in the most vulnerable populations so we can celebrate more moments like this that unites Northwest Indiana and the state of Indiana and not divide us,” Mrva
