CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person was seriously injured after a stabbing along the blue line on Friday evening in east Charlotte.
Medic said on Friday, Dec. 4, they responded to a stabbing near the light rail station on 25th Street and North Bervard Street.
First responders found a person with stab wounds and was and was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
At the time of this writing, no further information was released on what led up to the stabbing or if anyone was in custody.
CATS officials said that Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating an incident along the Blue Line.
The Blue Line is the same light rail in Charlotte where a high-profile stabbing took place in August this year. On Aug. 22, Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska was stabbed to death in the South End
