LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Texas Tech Athletics announced Jacob Rodriguez as the official winner of the Butkus Award, which is given to the nation’s top linebacker.

Rodriguez officially picks up his first honor on the year. He is mentioned among other awards including the Heisman Trophy.
