COLUMBIA, S.C. — Gather Cola, Columbia’s first open-air food hall, has officially opened after nearly a year of construction.

“You can eat here every meal of every day and probably never get tired of it,” said Robert Hughes, president of Hughes Development and the lead developer behind the BullStreet District.

The district’s newest addition features 10 food vendors, three retail spaces, a cocktail bar, a brewery, and regular events and live music. Hughes said that the range of options is the goal.

“Gather brings something that has not existed in Columbia before,” he said. “Having a place like this where everyone can come out and enjoy it day or night, bring the kids, bring the grandparents. There is something for everyone here, and that is really big for Columbia and really big for Bull
