One dead following collision near Edgeley

FORT QU’APPELLE – A 41-year-old man from Ebenezer has died after a collision on Highway 10 northeast of Edgeley.

Fort Qu’Appelle RCMP say officers were called at 1:15 p.m. on December 4 to a two-vehicle crash about five kilometres from the community.

Police and local EMS arrived soon after and found a car and semi had collided.

The driver of the car, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the semi did not report any physical injuries.

A Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
