FARGO — As the story goes, they found the only room in town, a stable.

Now, students at Shanley High School, along with a local chainsaw artist, have recreated the ubiquitous Christmas manger scene. This time, in a shipping container.

The whole family is there: Joseph, Mary and baby Jesus, right at the entrance to Shanley.

Chainsaw artist Scott Petry, of Glyndon, took on the project, which "had a little more importance to it," he said.

"It is never easy doing a human figure but I felt honored to do something that is so important to me and remind people of the human spirit," Scott said.
